Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

These beautiful murals are a tribute to Henri Matisse's collage
CHRISTMAS EVE.
Matisse made this collage when he was 80 years old, as a model for a stained-glass window for a small church in Vence, France.
I wish to thank the children of class 3A, 3B and 3C, with their teachers, Stella and Irma, for working with me to make these murals, and especially the art teacher Kathy Barbro who gave me the project idea. And of course, thanks also to Henri Matisse for all his wonderful masterpieces!!!
The murals are beautiful, but also these kids singing Christmas carols with their lanterns are really beautiful!
Well, enjoy your holidays and... see you next year!
Bye,

  2. Hi Clare! I do love your murals. I'm sorry the holidays got away from me before I could post yours too. Can I put your photo in my Flickr collection? Let me know if your kids do any more things you'd like to share and maybe I can feature them too. Thanks!
