Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

These beautiful murals are a tribute to Henri Matisse's collage
CHRISTMAS EVE.
Matisse made this collage when he was 80 years old, as a model for a stained-glass window for a small church in Vence, France.
I wish to thank the children of class 3A, 3B and 3C, with their teachers, Stella and Irma, for working with me to make these murals, and especially the art teacher Kathy Barbro who gave me the project idea. And of course, thanks also to Henri Matisse for all his wonderful masterpieces!!!
The murals are beautiful, but also these kids singing Christmas carols with their lanterns are really beautiful!
Well, enjoy your holidays and... see you next year!
Bye,

Henri Matisse

Jingle Bells

Hello, everyone!
How are you? I'm fine. Christmas is getting nearer: let's sing the famous Jingle Bells!
Here you can read the lyrics while you sing (remember we learnt only the first stanza and the refrain at school)
Now go and bake some mince pies for Santa: you know he loves them! And don't forget carrots for the reindeer!
Bye bye!
